Well, it's Half Time of the big game. I really don't have a favorite of the two teams. Guess I should root for New England because of Son-in-law John, and I should root for New York for my friends Barbara and John. May the best team win.

You might not believe it but today was a beautiful day. Sixty degrees with the sun shining brightly.  A trip out to the Patio to check the plants in the Flower Box revealed an amazing discovery. The snow is gone, the ice is gone and what do you think - the Pansies are still blooming. I am thinking Bill must have put new plants out but he informed me they are the original ones. They are winter plants. Now if the Deer don't find them they will be there for me to enjoy for a long time.Â

Going through my old calendars (I wondered why I have kept them all these years) I found one for Thursday December 16, 1999. There was a notation on it that "Nica (Veronica) drove over alone for the first time today".  She was 16 and had just gotten her license. It brought back some precious memories.Â
At my age it's the little things that mean so much. Â
Â
Another precious memory came to light today - I had an e-mail from a friend from Steubenville days named Cindy. We had been out of touch for much too long but are back on track and she and her Husband Dom have promised to come for a visit.

Game is back on.Â

Love and prayers from here to there
